This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used on the pappachat.com website, operated by Atakan Kayatekin (a sole proprietorship). The site uses technical cookies strictly necessary for its operation and security and, only with the user's prior consent given through the cookie banner, statistical analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4). No advertising or profiling cookies are installed.

1What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that websites save on the user's device (computer, tablet, smartphone) while browsing, and that are then sent back to the same websites on subsequent visits. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, instead let information be stored directly in the browser, without automatically sending it back to the server.

Based on their purpose, two broad categories can be distinguished:

Technical (or necessary) cookies: essential for the correct functioning of the site, for delivering a service requested by the user, or for ensuring its security. These cookies do not require the user's prior consent.
Analytics (statistical) cookies: collect aggregated information about how visitors use the site, in order to improve it. Because the site relies on a third-party tool (Google Analytics), they require the user's prior consent. This site uses them only with consent.
Profiling cookies: used to build user profiles and deliver advertising messages in line with the preferences shown while browsing. They require the user's prior consent. This site does not use profiling cookies.

2Which cookies and technologies we use

3Analytics cookies and consent

The site does not use advertising or profiling cookies. It does use statistical analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) only with the user's prior consent, collected through the cookie banner: without consent these cookies are not installed and the Google Analytics script is not even loaded. Users can change their choice at any time by reopening the banner from the footer or by clearing their browser data.

4Third-party cookies and messaging

Some features of the site rely on third-party providers that act as data processors and may set technical cookies necessary for their own services:

Cloudflare, Inc.: anti-abuse protection (Turnstile), CDN and network security. Processing is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy, available on its website.
Stripe: secure payment processing and fraud prevention on the checkout pages. Processing is governed by Stripe's privacy policy, available on its website.
Google Ireland Ltd.: aggregated usage statistics via Google Analytics 4, activated only with the user's prior consent. Processing is governed by Google's privacy policy, available on its website.

Conversations that take place on WhatsApp and Instagram are not managed by the website: the use of cookies and similar technologies on those platforms is governed by Meta's own cookie and privacy policies.

5How to manage cookies and local storage

Users can block or delete cookies and clear the browser's local storage at any time through their browser settings. The procedure varies from browser to browser; below are the reference paths for the most common browsers:
