1About us

PappaChat builds AI assistants that operate across multiple channels (including WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, website chat and email), designed for businesses in any sector: they answer customers and handle reservations and orders, with the option to hand the conversation over to a human operator at any time. 4Hosting and infrastructure

The PappaChat website and platform are hosted in data centres located within the European Union (DigitalOcean), with AWS used for data storage. Our infrastructure is selected by favouring providers that ensure adequate levels of security and compliance.

A full list of providers and processors (sub-processors) is provided in the Privacy Policy and in the Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

5Images generated with artificial intelligence

Some images on this site are illustrations generated with artificial intelligence tools. They are marked with an "AI" label in the lower right corner of the image, or by a note accompanying the group of images.

These images do not depict our offices, our team, our customers or real places, and the people shown in them are not existing persons. The macaw that appears in many of them is our mascot: a character, not a real bird at work.

We declare this for two reasons. The first is Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence, which requires anyone deploying generated content to disclose it clearly and recognisably. The second is simpler: a photorealistic image carrying our name on the wall could be mistaken for our actual premises, and we would rather it were not.

The data, figures, reviews and business names quoted on the site are real and verifiable. Where we show an example scenario rather than a customer, we say so explicitly.

6Intellectual property

The "PappaChat" name, the pappachat.com website, its design, texts, logos and software are protected by applicable intellectual property laws and may not be used or reproduced, in whole or in part, without the holder's prior written authorisation.

Third-party names and trademarks (including WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and Meta) belong to their respective owners and are mentioned for descriptive purposes only, without any relationship of affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement by those parties.

The website may contain links to external sites that are not under our control: we accept no responsibility for their content or their practices.

8Dispute resolution

In the event of a dispute, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution as a first step. Where no agreement can be reached, the courts of Trieste (Foro di Trieste) shall have exclusive jurisdiction over the use of the service, save for the consumer's forum where the user qualifies as a consumer.

For matters relating to the processing of personal data, you may also contact the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).

This relationship is governed by Italian law.
