What changed, with the date next to it

Every line below is something that actually landed in the product. No announcements, nothing coming soon: if it is not live, it is not here.

  • Improved

The phone assistant answers sooner and never goes quiet

We measured the dead air in a real call and cut it: the assistant starts answering sooner, stops repeating itself, and when it needs a moment it fills the pause the way a person would instead of leaving the line silent.

  • New

Backups stored away from the server that holds the data

Every business's data is now copied automatically to separate storage, with a written and tested restore procedure. It is not a feature you see in the panel, but it decides what happens the day something goes wrong.

  • Fixed

Updates no longer interrupt the service

While a new version was being released the panel and the channels could be unreachable for a few seconds. The switch now happens with no downtime window.

  • New

    Choose your phone assistant's voice

The voice that answers the phone is no longer a single fixed one: you pick it in the panel, along with how it introduces itself. Callers hear a voice that matches the business, and the assistant always states it is automated at the start of the call.

  • New

The phone line understands callers in whatever language they speak

The phone assistant recognises the caller's language and answers in it, staying within the languages the business says it speaks. Useful for anyone working with tourists and cross-border customers.

  • Improved

A permission means the same thing everywhere, including to an AI

The permissions you give a team member now apply identically in the panel, in search, in notifications and in the tools a connected AI can use. There is no side door around a permission.

  • New

The AI phone line is sold by the minute, on any plan

Calls now have their own price list, separate from chat conversations: Voice 100, 300 and 1000 minute packs that add to any plan, including Starter. When the minutes run out, calls go to your number with no surprise charges.

Guided setup: the panel tells you what is missing, and can do it for you

Right after signing up you see a short list of what the assistant still needs. Each step offers two paths: let Pappa AI do it, or do it yourself. The list is not a manual checklist: it is derived from the account's real data, so it ticks itself and reappears if something breaks.

  • New

On the phone, the assistant consults a human without losing the caller

Faced with a request it cannot decide, the phone assistant neither improvises nor hangs up: it passes the question to an operator, keeps the caller, and if nobody is available it takes a note, alerts the team and offers a call back.

Ready-made WhatsApp templates, approved while you set up

To message a customer outside the 24-hour window Meta requires approved templates. Now, when you connect WhatsApp, the standard templates for your sector (booking confirmation, reminder, order ready) are requested in the background: approval lands while you finish setup, not the day you need them.

  • New

The calendar speaks your sector's language

A restaurant reads bookings and covers, a hotel stays and guests, a car rental hires, a clinic appointments, an event planner registrations and attendees. The word comes from the sector, and you can replace it with your own.

  • Improved

When you connect your own AI, you choose capability by capability

The consent screen is no longer all or nothing: across nine groups you choose read-only or manage, you see which business is being connected, and you can revoke at any time from the panel.

  • Fixed

No more double replies during setup

In one specific case the channel connection screen was switching off the double-reply guard, and the customer received two messages. Fixed.

  • New

You decide when the AI confirms a booking

Always, never, or by rule: large groups, short notice, new customers, specific resources or channels. Pending bookings land in a To approve tab with the reason and the conversation they came from, and the customer is confirmed only when you say so.

  • New

If you reply from your phone, the assistant stands down

When you message a customer from the WhatsApp app on your phone, your reply is recorded in the panel and the assistant stops answering in that conversation for a while. It no longer talks over you, and it resumes on its own once the chat settles.

  • New

Alerts split by type, not one single bell

The panel now carries four distinct indicators: things to handle, new bookings, new contacts and warnings to check. Each shows only what that person is allowed to handle, and opening an alert does not mark it read.

  • New

Outbound email carries your identity, and the preview cannot lie

Your logo, colours and signature are set in the panel, and the preview uses the very same renderer as the send: what you see is byte for byte what the customer gets. Replies stay in the original thread rather than arriving as a newsletter.

  • New

A real calendar, not a list of requests

The calendar opens on a month, with the day's detail beside it. You create a booking by clicking an empty slot, move it by dragging, reassign it by dropping it on another resource, and every action has an Undo. Businesses that sell nights get a room-by-room timeline.

  • New

To handle: the assistant asks you instead of guessing

Faced with an unusual or off-policy request (a discount, an exception, an owner's call) the assistant escalates the question to an operator and pauses automatic replies. You answer in one line and the assistant uses it to reply to the customer in their language.

  • New

Conversation archive with filters and export

Closed conversations no longer vanish to the bottom of a list: filter by channel, outcome and period, read a per-conversation summary, and export to CSV to take the data wherever you need it.

  • New

    Periodic reports and business statistics

How many conversations, bookings and contacts, on which channel and at which hours. Available on the Pro and Max plans.

  • New

Watch the panel live, without signing up

Pick a sector and step into the real panel as a sample business, read-only: live conversations, bookings, contacts and calls as the assistant would handle them. Data and names are fictional.

    See
  • New

One search across the whole panel

Customers, conversations, bookings, content: all searched from one field, and results respect the permissions of whoever is searching.

  • New

Decide who is alerted, about what, and on which channel

Rules by event, scope, recipients and medium, with quiet hours. With no rules set, the alert emails the owner. Rules decide who gets disturbed, not what gets recorded: the panel keeps everything.

  • New

Draft mode: the AI writes, you approve before it sends

For sensitive inboxes (legal, admin) the assistant prepares the reply and queues it: nothing goes out until a person has read it. It can be switched on per channel or per mailbox.

  • New

Your business mailboxes become a channel

Connect info@, support@ or sales@ without changing provider: switch on an automatic forward and verification happens on the first email. Each mailbox gets its own assistant, signature and reply mode.

  • New

Different rules on different channels, with one assistant

The assistant knows which channel it is on, so a rule can apply to Instagram only or WhatsApp only without duplicating the assistant's persona.

  • New

Training the assistant is now a conversation

Paste content, send your website link or upload a file: each item becomes a card with a real preview, so you see what will be used before you start. After training, the AI asks a few targeted questions about what is missing.

  • Improved

Security: HTTP headers and disposable email blocking

The site and the panel now send a full set of security headers, and sign-up rejects disposable email addresses. These are defences nobody sees, which is exactly why they are worth writing down.

  • Fixed

Channels no longer disappear and come back

The provider sync was reading only the first page of the list and treating the rest as missing, so a channel could vanish from the panel and return shortly after. The list is now read in full, and nothing is pruned on a partial one.

  • New

Buy your number from the panel, toll-free included

Search available numbers, buy one and connect it to the assistant without leaving the panel. Or forward the number you already use.

  • New

The assistant answers the phone too

An AI phone line that answers, understands the request, gives the information it knows and transfers to a person when needed. It states it is automated at the start of the call.

  • New

Fix a price without retraining the assistant

Open the document in the library, fix the line, save: the assistant uses the updated version within seconds, without spending a training credit. Included corrections are 5 a month on Starter, 15 on Pro and 30 on Max, with an extra pack of 25 for 2.99 euro that never expires.

    See
  • New

Each assistant can own its own knowledge base

Content can belong to one assistant or be shared with all of them, and for every bot reply you can see which documents it was grounded on.

  • New

Instagram connects from the panel, with name and handle in the inbox

Instagram now connects through a guided flow inside the panel, and conversations show the display name alongside the handle, so you know who you are talking to.

  • New

Connect your own AI: MCP server and Developers area

If you want to, you can connect your own AI assistant to PappaChat and manage the account in natural language, in one click over OAuth or with an API key created in the panel. Available on the Max plan.

  • New

Assisted setup, if you would rather not do it yourself

You connect the channels yourself from the panel, which walks you through it. If you would rather not, we do it: an optional paid service, free on the annual Max plan.

    See
  • New

Availability engine and Google Calendar sync

Weekly hours with split shifts and breaks, closures and special openings, buffers, minimum notice, per-resource capacity. The assistant never invents a slot: it offers only what the engine computed, and when it declines it says which rule got in the way.

  • New

Operators: invite with a code, permissions item by item

The owner invites team members with a code, without them buying a plan, and picks exactly what each can see and do. Each operator can be limited to their own book.

  • New

Resource-based bookings: tables, rooms, chairs, vehicles

Every resource gets its own book, named the way your sector names it. Or keep the booking tool you already use and connect it.

    See
  • New

Lead capture: the assistant qualifies and hands the lead to the team

When a customer shows interest, often arriving from an ad, the assistant qualifies the request and hands over a ready lead, with the source campaign attached.

  • New

Annual billing with two months free

At checkout you can pick annual billing: you pay ten months and use twelve.

  • New

Forwarding contacts: the assistant alerts the right person

Notes, messages and the customer's location are forwarded to the owner, the kitchen or a courier, over WhatsApp or email. The addresses are always the ones you configure: the assistant never picks or invents them.

  • New

    Telegram, included on every plan

Telegram joins the channels handled by the same assistant and the same shared inbox, at no extra cost.

  • New

You can see which ad the customer came from

Conversations started from a Click-to-WhatsApp ad carry the campaign they came from, so you can tell what is working.

  • New

The assistant sees photos and remembers returning customers

It understands images customers send and keeps conversation and customer-profile memory. Available on the Max plan.

    See
  • New

Real-time live chat, with media and location

Conversations arrive in the panel as they happen, with photos, documents, audio, location and read receipts. You can take over a chat with one tap and hand it back to the assistant when you are done.
