Your business number answers every message, right away
The assistant works on the WhatsApp number your customers already use: it answers with your business's real information, takes bookings, captures leads and hands the conversation to a person when needed. You keep using your phone exactly as before.
The starting point
The problem isn't WhatsApp, it's time
I answer messages in the evening, once we close. Half the time the customer has already booked somewhere else.
WhatsApp is where customers actually write, and it is also where requests nobody has time to read pile up: while you work, at night, at the weekend. Every hour of delay is someone who asked elsewhere in the meantime.
- Messages arriving while you work, sitting there for hours
- The same questions on hours, prices and availability, every day
- Bookings agreed in chat and never written down anywhere
- Important requests buried under dozens of conversations
What it does
What the assistant actually does
It answers from your data, not at random
It uses only the information you uploaded (hours, price list, rules) and replies in the customer's language. If it doesn't know, it says so and hands off to a person.
It takes bookings and appointments
It offers only the slots the availability engine computed, then creates the booking or leaves it waiting for your confirmation, whichever you prefer.
It hands over when needed
Keywords like agent or urgent, sensitive requests or anything off-policy: the assistant stops, notifies the team and the conversation reaches a person.
The same number stays on your phone too
You keep using WhatsApp from the app as always. If you reply from your phone, the assistant pauses on that chat for 24 hours, then resumes.
Photos, documents, audio and location
Customers send whatever they want and it all lands in the shared inbox. On the Max plan the assistant also reads photos.
Writing first, inside Meta's rules
Outside the 24-hour window approved templates are required: when you connect WhatsApp we apply in the background for the standard ones in your sector (confirmation, reminder, order ready).
How it works
Three steps, then it works
Connect the number
Bring your WhatsApp Business account or activate a new one. The guided flow is in the panel, or we handle the setup for you.
Teach it your business
Paste your menu, price list and hours, send your website link or upload files: every piece becomes a source the assistant answers from.
Decide how much it does alone
Choose whether it confirms bookings by itself, with rules or never, who it forwards requests to, and when it must call a person. Then switch it on.
Connections
What it connects to
WhatsApp Business (Meta Cloud API)
Official channel connection, with a new number or the one you already use.
Shared inbox
WhatsApp chats sit next to Instagram, Telegram, email and the website chat, in the same panel.
Google Calendar
Bookings land in the staff member's calendar, and the commitments already there block the slots.
Alerts on the team's WhatsApp
Each person registers their own personal number and receives alerts from PappaChat's number, and can reply straight to the alert.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to change number?
No. You can connect the WhatsApp Business account you already use, or activate a new one if you prefer to keep the assistant's channel separate.
Can I still reply from my phone?
Yes. The same number works on the app and with the assistant, with no disconnecting. When you reply from your phone the assistant stops on that conversation for 24 hours, then resumes on its own.
Can it invent a price or an availability?
No. It answers only from the content you uploaded and offers only the slots the availability engine computed. When it doesn't have the answer it says so and passes the conversation to your team.
How many conversations are included?
It depends on the plan: roughly 100, 1,000 or 3,000 conversations a month. A conversation is one customer thread, not one message.
