PappaChat

Channels

A channel is a place where customers write to you. PappaChat does not create new ones: it connects to the ones you already have, because asking a customer to install something in order to talk to you is the most effective way of not being talked to.

What changes when you connect one

For your customers, nothing. They write to the same number, the same profile, the same inbox. They do not see a product in the middle, they install nothing, they get no link to an external chat.

For you, those messages now also arrive in the panel, in one list, with the history, and the assistant can answer.

What stays yours

The number, the profile and the page stay in your name. You do not transfer them, you do not put them in our name, you do not lose them if you stop one day. If you close the account tomorrow, your number is still your number: what switches off is the automation.

We do not read your past conversations and we do not import your contacts. That is not a technical limitation, it is a choice: that data belongs to your customers and there is no reason for it to pass through us to make what you need work.

The channels

WhatsApp. The main one for almost everybody. You can use a new number or connect the one you already use; in the second case you keep answering from your phone whenever you want, and your replies still land in the conversation without you having to tell anyone.

Instagram and Messenger. Connected through a guided flow inside the panel, with nobody needing to touch your accounts on your behalf. The flow also points out where Meta's own interface is ambiguous, because the step almost everybody gets wrong is presented as optional and is not.

Email. A mailbox that receives, understands and replies like the other channels, keeping the thread instead of opening a new ticket with every reply.

Your website. A chat window, in your colour and with your name.

The phone. A switchboard that actually answers: it speaks, understands, takes bookings, and when it needs to, it puts the caller on hold, asks a real person, and comes back with the answer without making anyone hang up.

If a channel disconnects

We tell you. The panel checks that every connected channel can genuinely receive and reply, and when something breaks it says so in plain words along with what to do, instead of leaving you to find out from a customer who never got an answer.

The same applies before you go live: if a configuration saves without errors but would break in front of a customer, the panel refuses to let you publish it that way. A successful save is not a promise that things work.

Several channels at once

Someone who writes to you on Instagram and then on WhatsApp is the same person. Conversations stay separate per channel, because they genuinely are, but the customer record is one, and whoever answers sees the whole story instead of starting over.
