The email channel

Not every business has WhatsApp Business, but every business has an email address. Connecting it means the mail to info@ or support@ lands in the panel like any other conversation, and the assistant can answer there too, with the same knowledge and the same rules as on every other channel.

How it connects

You keep your mailbox and your provider. You migrate nothing and you give nobody your mail password: you set up an automatic forward from your mailbox to a personal delivery address we give you. The guided setup in the panel shows the steps for your provider (Gmail, Outlook, Aruba and the rest), and a test email confirms everything works before the assistant touches a single real message.

If you ever disconnect the mailbox, you remove the forward and your mail is yours alone again, as before.

What the customer sees

They write to your address, as they always have. The reply arrives under your business name, in the same thread, with the subject preserved; when they answer, their mail lands back in the same conversation in the panel. Attachments they send (photos, documents) arrive with the message.

One difference for the better compared to WhatsApp: email has no reply window. You and the assistant can answer even days later.

More mailboxes, each with its own character

A business does not speak with one voice: support@ reassures, sales@ proposes, legal@ weighs its words. Each connected mailbox has its own purpose, its own assistant and its own rules. When you connect one you pick a starting profile (support, sales, information, legal) and then shape it like any other assistant.

How it replies: three levels of trust

For each mailbox you decide how much to leave in the assistant's hands:

  • It replies on its own. Right for support@ and info@: frequent questions, opening hours, simple requests.
  • It prepares a draft. The assistant writes but does not send: the draft appears in Conversations with a clear label, an operator reads it, edits it if needed, and decides whether it goes. The right default for legal, medical, or otherwise sensitive mailboxes.
  • Off. The mailbox arrives in the panel as a normal shared inbox and only a person replies.

What the replies look like

A real business's reply is not a newsletter: it is clean text in the thread, with the identity in a signature. You set the logo and colour once for the whole business, and per mailbox the signature: name, role, phone, website, a free note. The panel shows a preview that is exactly the email that goes out, not a reconstruction.

If you want full control, you can upload your own HTML template. Two things never move, whatever the template says: the message text stays intact, and the line disclosing that an AI assistant wrote the reply is always there. It is a legal obligation, and it is the honest way to work anyway.

What never gets a reply

A public mailbox receives everything, and answering everything is a mistake:

  • Machine mail (bounce notices, auto-replies, system mail) is discarded: answering an automation only creates more bouncing.
  • Marketing campaigns and cold offers stay in the inbox but the assistant leaves them alone: if one interests you, a person replies. Deciding what counts as junk is your call, not ours, so the message itself never disappears.

And a rule in the other direction: this channel replies, it does not campaign. No mass mail leaves from here, and nobody gets a cold email.

How many mailboxes

The number of mailboxes you can connect depends on the plan: 1 on Starter, 3 on Pro, 10 on Max. Details in Plans and limits.
